A1 Group Renews CEE DTH Capacity on Eutelsat 16° East
- Ensuring continued delivery of premium content and broadcast quality to A1 Croatia subscribers across the region

Paris, 11 September, 2026 – Eutelsat (ISIN: FR0010221234 – Euronext Paris / London Stock Exchange: ETL) and A1 Group, one of Central and Eastern Europe’s leading communications provider, have renewed a multi-year, multi-transponder agreement, reaffirming the company's long-standing commitment to Eutelsat's flagship 16° East video neighbourhood. The renewed capacity supports A1 Group’s delivery of the technical DTH television platform for A1 Croatia, as well as technical services, including signal transport, uplink and encryption, for multiple TV broadcasters across Europe.
Under the agreement, A1 Group will continue to leverage multiple transponders at Eutelsat's 16° East orbital position to distribute a broad portfolio of premium television channels and services to households across Croatia and CEE. The agreement ensures the continued delivery of high-quality broadcast services and reinforces 16° East as the leading satellite neighbourhood for video distribution across Central and Eastern Europe. With extensive coverage across the region, Eutelsat's 16° East position reaches more than 80 million DTH, cable and IPTV homes and carries over 600 television channels.
