Eutelsat partners with Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation and the Association of Ethiopian Broadcasters for video capacity on EUTELSAT 8 West B

Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) has signed simultaneous multi-year contracts with the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation and the Association of Ethiopian Broadcasters for video capacity on its EUTELSAT 8 West B satellite. The aggregate of these contracts represents multi-transponder capacity, including incremental resources.

​Eurobroadband Infrastructure launches Preferred Partner Programme to boost KA-SAT capacity distribution

Eurobroadband Infrastructure (EBI), a subsidiary of Eutelsat (NYSE Euronext: ETL), is launching a Preferred Partner Programme for the distribution of capacity on its KA-SAT satellite. The programme aims at revitalising the distribution of KA-SAT capacity to boost the deployment of internet access via satellite, further bridging the digital divide, in line with EU 2020 targets.

Comprehensive study of satellite television reception places Eutelsat as market leader across Nigeria, Cameroon and Ivory Coast

A far-reaching in-depth study, led by Nielsen, of television reception throughout Nigeria, Cameroon and Ivory Coast, has positioned Eutelsat as satellite market leader within these countries. The face-to-face interviews were conducted with 3,000 households in Nigeria, 2,000 in Cameroun and 2,000 in Ivory Coast, representative of the population of the geographical area surveyed.
